Denmark

Day 1
We woke up really early to drive own to kristiansand and catch the boat to denmark. Once we were on the boat I thought all would be well, but no it happened to be really bad seas (luckily I took a sea sickness tablet) and so I couldn't walk any where without falling and began to feel sick when standing, so I was then confined to sit in a seat, sleep and listen to music hoping it would go fast. We got off the boat and went to the aquarium, nothing too exciting to report just a normal aquarium (was disappointed at their lack of sharks). We then started our drive down to the town we were staying at (4-5hr drive), stopping at playgrounds on the way to keep the kids entertained. I should mention the we were travelling with another family with twins that same age. Arriving at the holiday house to see it was gorgeous, we set down our bags and unpacked. The rest of the day was filled with exploring the area. They had goats there and they were so cute!

Day 2
I started the day Danish style with chocolate on bread, it was delicious! We then made our way to the oldest town in Denmark called Ribe. Here we wandered around, ate ice cream with guff and just looked at all the old buildings. The building indeed were very old and looked so cool. After we drove to Esberj but didn't much there.

Day 3

We went into the town nearby and spent the day at the swimming pool, which was actually really cool. It had lots of different pools with themes and two water slides.

Day 4

Today we went to the zoo, which you could drive your car through which was quite cool. Got to see lots of animals and such. After we went to family friends house and ate so much delicious food I thought I could explode and decided that I should there.

Day 5

We went and visited a miniature town which was an exact replica of the original plan and each building was properly built by brick layer and everything. After we went into the real town and shopped around for a bit.

Day 6 

This was a relaxing day were we did nothing.

Day 7

Today we packed up the house and prepared for a very long day as a boat wasn't due to leave until 11:30. So we headed off to a play land, which I though would be really boring, but no! It was so much fun they had trampolines and courses and lots of stuff. Though I do have to admit I was the oldest there who didn't have a child, but hey it was fun! After sweating it out there, we drove some more to another zoo. I actually really enjoyed the zoo and it was so humid! Oh my I am so not used to the humidity any more, that is for sure. I also got scared, I walked into this quite dark room, which no one else was in and the next thing I know a bat flies at my face. I then proceeded to run out screaming looking for some one I knew to seek safety haha : D After the zoo we drove some more and found a park and played there to kill some time before we had to go. We then left and proceeded to wait forever to get on the boat (which was a much smoother trip) and after drove straight home at 3am and proceed to collapse straight into bed. 

Yes, this is a horrible photo, but that ice cream was giant and so delicious!
